Adult Guidance and Information Service
What is the Kerry Adult Guidance Service (KAGS)?
The Kerry Adult Guidance Service is the part of the Kerry Education
Service that provides eligible adults with quality educational
guidance, career guidance and information in order to assist them in
making choices appropriate to their needs.
What does the Kerry Adult Guidance Service Do?
The KAGS Guidance Counsellors work with Adult Learners in groups and on
a one – to - one basis to discuss individual needs, such as
courses or training, help with CV’s, help with interviews and
they can help you find out where to start or what to do next.
The KAGS Information Officer helps Adult Learners to get information on courses, training, careers, funding, grants and other relevant supports. The Information Officer will support you to use the up-to-date KAGS Information Library which provides adults with a number of resources to help them research the various options available to them.
